Kasi Ruddraraju
Kasi joined Oligo Factory in September 2026, where he focuses on platform development, specifically high-throughput oligonucleotide manufacturing and improving its capabilities, emphasizing scalability, quality, and faster client turnaround. He brings more than 15 years of industry and research experience in synthetic chemistry, process development, and CMC, with deep expertise in ASOs, siRNAs, aptamers, sgRNA, and tRNA.
After completing his M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry in 2007, Kasi began his career at Albany Molecular Research Inc. (now Curia), working in small molecule R&D and process development. He later led oligonucleotide process development, scale-up, and tech transfer at Nitto Avecia, and most recently directed CMC and in-house tRNA synthesis at Alltrna.
Kasi holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Missouri-Columbia and completed postdoctoral training in medicinal chemistry at Purdue University.
