In Situ Hybridization (ISH)

Molecular Detection Probes for Precision Medicine Development

ISH probes are designed to detect specific DNA or RNA sequences within cells to interrogate chromosomal abnormalities and gene mutations.

The use of fluorescent dyes conjugated to the ISH probe to detect molecular interactions is called fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH). ISH probes must be carefully designed and manufactured to maximize signal-to-noise ratios and avoid off-target binding, enabling researchers to visualize and quantify target molecules with high sensitivity and specificity.

Oligo Factory leverages finely tuned solid phase synthetic chemistry to produce high-quality ISH probes from gram to hundreds of grams quantities. Our NANDA Series synthesizers enable precise control and enhanced purity for even the most complex ISH probe sequences.

Discover how Oligo Factory’s approach delivers high-quality, custom dual dye labelled DNA probes with rapid turnaround times while maintaining cost efficiency in this case study.
