Adam Sanford
Adam has >9 years of commercial experience in life sciences and business development, with a background in benchtop solid-phase oligo synthesis. Adam joined Oligo Factory in April 2023 where he leads business development efforts for the eastern US and EMEA markets at Oligo Factory, working closely with partners across diagnostics, therapeutics, and biotechnology to deliver high-quality custom oligonucleotide solutions. Adam helps customers navigate the complexities of oligo manufacturing, ensuring they have the right tools and strategies to advance their research programs from concept to clinic.
Prior to Oligo Factory, Adam held business development and account management roles at Telesis Bio, LGC Biosearch, and CELLINK where he focused on innovative solutions in synthetic biology, enzymatic oligo synthesis, and molecular diagnostics. He began his career as a researcher at Northwestern University’s Mirkin Lab, where he researched solid-phase oligonucleotide synthesis and DNA-protein conjugates.
Adam holds an M.S. in Chemistry from Northwestern University and a B.A. in Biological Chemistry from Dartmouth College.
